Buenos Aires, Argentina

Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina, is one of the most important cities in Latin America. It is a cosmopolitan and multifaceted city that will surprise the visitor. It takes three days to get to know this city and the best time to visit it is during autumn or spring. The trip to Argentina Buenos Aires lasts 8 hours and 35 minutes from Miami, but it’s worth it. The city has a diverse cultural life: there are numerous museums, art galleries, cinemas and theaters with national and international shows. In addition, Buenos Aires is known for its night. Some nightclubs and bars stay open until dawn. Below is a list of things you can not miss the Argentina Buenos Aires .

1. Visit the neighborhoods. You must go to Palermo, San Telmo and Recoleta. The most modern fashion and decorations stores are in Palermo. It is a young and cool neighborhood. The epicenter of the area is Plaza Serrano, located in Honduras and Serrano. San Telmo is the oldest district of the city with cobblestone streets and colonial houses. There are several antique shops and art galleries. Recoleta is one of the nicest neighborhoods of Buenos Aires that combines elegant houses, restaurants and boutiques.

2. Colon Theatre. It is considered one of the most important theatres in the world in regard to its acoustics. It has hosted many international figures such as: Luciano Pavarotti, Arturo Toscanini, Maria Callas and Julio Boca. The colon has been closed for two years for renovations but will reopen its doors on May 25 to celebrate the bicentenary of the first government of Argentina.

3. Caminito. This street-museum of La Boca is a must. Visitors will be surprised to see houses made out of tin and painted in colors and will enjoy the artist, the painters and the tango dancers that perform in the street. Note: Caminito can be a tourist trap; it is not the real Argentina. Anyway, it's worth visiting. After strolling through Caminito we recommend eating the famous Argentinean asado (barbecue).
