At the beginning of last century, Argentina was an incredibly rich country. This is reflected in the magnificent French villas of Buenos Aires, the parks designed by landscape architect Thais, and the broad avenues of the city. Buenos Aires is also known for its night clubs and bars that stay open until dawn.
Europeans think that Buenos Aires has the cultural life of Europe. All kinds of artist live in the city. Then there is the famous Colón Theater, currently undergoing repairs. This is one of the most important theaters in the world and housed famous artists.
What makes Argentina great? Another reason to visit Argentina is the meat. You must try the famous stake (bife de chorizo) that is tasty and tender. You can have a stake for 30 dollars.
Las Pampas also amaze foreigners; the vast green fields are a great attraction to them.
What makes Argentina great? It has all kinds of landscapes: mountains, plains, forests, glaciers. There are places like the Iguazu Falls,in Misiones (in the north of the Country) and San Carlos de Bariloche, in Río Negro. The North of the country has beautiful mountains and colonial houses and the Perito Moreno Glacier, in Patagonia, is a unique spectacle.
Argentina also has major ski resorts like Bariloche, Las Leñas, in Mendoza, and Chapelco, in San Martin de los Andes.
There is accommodation of all types: you can be a backpacker, or a luxury tourist, you can go to the beach or stay in a classic estancia (farmhouse). Argentines are sensitive and hospitable people.
