Claro Argentina is the leading company in mobile communications. It has the largest network of 3G technology across the country and reaches more than 450 cities in 21 provinces in Argentina. Claro Argentina was born in March 2008. It replaced the brand CTI Movil (Compania de Telefonos del Interior SA), which had been bought by America Movil in 2003. CTI began operating in Argentina in 1994 in the provinces of the north. In 1999 CTI arrived to Capital and Gran Buenos Aires (the suburbs of the city). In 2003 CTI add the GSM technology to mobile phones.

Claro Argentina also has coverage in the major countries of the world through the International Data Roaming. Please note, however, that the service is very expensive. We do not recommend using the roaming of Claro.
