What do Argentina Kids Wear to School?


School uniforms vary widely in Argentina. It depends on whether the school is private or public. State schools do not require uniform. In the elementary school kids wear casual clothes (jeans and t-shirts usually) and a white apron. This is an Italian influence. The white smocks are available in any supermarket. High schoolers do not wear aprons and dress as they please.

What do Argentina kids wear to school? Argentina is one of the Latin American countries with the most European look. Each private school has its own uniform, but they follow the British models. The primary school boys wear short pants, white shirts, sweaters or blazers. Some schools still continue the tradition to wear a tie and others, colorful aprons. In middle school boys use long pants.

Girls usually wear a white shirt, and a typical British kilt. Their hair must be properly tied up, often into a ponytail and jewelry on hands, wrists, or ankles is not allowed. Generally, boys and girls wear brown or black lace-up shoes.

What do argentina kids wear to school? In winter, girls and boys wear thick jackets. In Argentina there is no school bus so children often walk to school or parents take them. Private schools also require jackets of a particular color.

The kindergarten kids wear colored aprons over their clothes. Each color represents a different level.

It is very easy to get the uniform of the private schools of Argentina. There are specialized shops and you can even order online.

In sport day kids usually wear a jogging and a t-shirt that varies according to the school. They are usually white, light blue or grey.

In recent years, children in Argentina started using wheeled backpacks to go to school. School lockers are not common but they are more popular lately.
