The Republic of Argentina is located in the southeastern corner of America. It is divided in 23 provinces and its capital is Buenos Aires.

Where is Argentina? Is bordered by Bolivia and Paraguay in the north, by Brazil in the northeast, by Chile in the west and south and by Uruguay and the Atlantic Ocean in the east.

The country's surface is 2780400 km². Argentina is the fourth largest state in America (after Canada, U.S. and Brazil) and eighth in the world.

Where is Argentina? The flight from Miami lasts 8 hours and the ticket costs about $ 800. The journey is long but worth it. You will discover a unique and exotic country. The landscapes, people, tango and cultural activities will amaze you.

Argentina has 40 million inhabitants; most are concentrated in big cities such as Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Rosario, Mendoza, etc. The national currency is the peso, equivalent to U.S. $ 3.85. The official language is Spanish, but Argentines have a marked accent very similar to Italian and different from the Spanish of Spain.

The word Argentina comes from the Latin (argentum, silver). It is a huge country with a diversity of landscapes and climates ideal for tourism. You can visit the north, where the landscape is like Bolivia; there are colorful mountains and some colonial buildings. Salta and Jujuy provinces are exotic and very beautiful. The north is the only place in the country where there are still descendants of the Indians.

Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, is the perfect destination for tourists. It takes at least three days to know the city. Buenos Aires has a special magic that captivates people with its European influences and its open and warm inhabitants. The architecture is wonderful and the food first class. The different barrios or neighborhoods of the city are unique.
